Description
The focus of this course is to encourage students to setup pages, work with
text, preferences and picture boxes using QuarkXPress, Adobe Photo Shop, and
Adobe Illustrator. The course will show you the basic design principles used
by professional graphic artists, but it will put them in terms that everyday
people can understand and relate to. You'll be introduced to broad concepts
such as handling type, images, and color. You'll learn the different levels
of publications, from basic to advanced professional, and what software is
appropriate to complete the task at hand.
This course
is a lab-based course e.g. you are responsibel for your progress. Good
time-management skills are a must in order to excell in this course.
The instructor is available to help you on your way and will encourage
you to stay focused. The ultimate outcome is up to you.
